- Hand washing is best, but gentle machine cycles are also okay.
- Only use cold water to wash the sheet.
- Hang dry in fresh air – avoid using a tumble dryer.
- Allow at least one or two hours after applying lotions or body oils before coming into contact with the sheet.
- Never use bleach or fabric softeners.
- Skip whitening or oxygen-based detergents.
- Do not use soaps or detergents containing essential oils (e.g., lavender or coconut oil).
- Do not use dryer sheets or scent boosters.
- Avoid applying oils or creams right before bedtime.
- Do not iron the sheet.
